Our testers were averaging distances of 181 yards with the 4 iron in this set as well so they are good on distance. Don’t kid yourself though the muscle back design and the compact head was made for low handicap players. This made them surprisingly forgiving on mis-hits – especially shots that made contact closer to the toe. The Ping i525 irons feature tungsten weighting in the shaft tip and the toe.
